I just finished reading the Shinobi no Kuni manga and it left me very dissatisfied, so I decided to do an exercise and come up with five fic ideas I will never write. Just to train my brain, keep the ideas coming. This is what I've dreamed up in the past 45 minutes. Enjoy.

I'm on the train conceptualising a fic for Aiba-chan and it's so beautiful it's making me cry.

When I do things like that I wonder if people around me think: "Why is that chick tearing up while staring into space?"

Lol the creative process. I love how my mind is a playground.

So I wrote a fic last month and it's gotten really great response so I thought I'd put it up on Ao3 once posting finishes at the Trick or Fic comm. It's what I wanted, what I intended, I'm going in the right direction, but it hurts. It hurts so much to put two people who could be in love apart JUST BECAUSE I'M THE WRITER AND I CONTROL THE UNIVERSE.

Fiction is driving me insane.

I'm writing this thing, and it actually makes me cry, because ugh, pathos.

Fecking hurts, this bloody piece of fiction.

I'm struggling with it because it's a hard topic to tackle and I dunno, it's just tormenting to put myself in the shoes of my characters. And because I'm the author, I know everything there is to know about the plot. IT MAKES ME ( Read more... )

I roll with an idea I love and the words take form, but 3000 words later I tend to go:
