This is such a touching post, dear.

Life-changing decisions are never easy, but I'm sure, whatever you choose, you won't regret it.
(And for the lives you could always get a babysitter. XD)

Hey ran-chan! Thanks for that heartfelt comment ♥ thanks for having so much confidence in me too! Yes, if I attend lives, maybe one day watermelon, my kids and I can all go as a family. Hahaha.

Good luck with JET. It must be hard, it was scary enough moving here without having another person involved and having to think about the impact on them as well.

You know, absolutely none of my fears I had before I moved were founded. I have had trouble finding as much work as I'd have hoped to have to support myself but, in a way that's a good thing because I think if I worked the 28 hours a week I'm allowed on my visa, I'd be really struggling to keep up with my studies.

It is a challenge to live in Japan and situations that test you but then there are in Australia or in Singapore as well.

I just wanted to ask (feel free to ignore if this is too much personal info) - I don't know what kind of work the Watermelon does (and I'm sure you don't want to discuss it here) but would you live apart in Japan? I get the impression that JET focuses more on rural areas while jobs in other industries are all city based?

Hey babe, thanks for always leaving comments on my entries. Your words are always so sensible and they often encourage me because you're always telling me the other side of things, haha. Thanks for your well-wishes, I really hope I get JET, though it's really scary and life-changing right now to think about it ( ... )

You've put so much thought and planning in to this that I think you're at that stage where you have taken care of as many real details that you can and all thats left is the stuff that keeps you up at night that you can't change anyway because its all about the future. Or at least that was how it was for me when I immigrated/(emigrated? I did both, I guess). This reminds me so much of my life before I moved to Israel. I had only been for a few visits as a teenager but decided to move and did when I was 18. An advantage that you have that I didn't was speaking the language and family support(watermelon x). But most people think people who emigrate are crazy where I come from. I guess its that way in Singapore too? I agree so much about what you have to say about faith helping and making you stronger (though my faith is the old school version, haha ( ... )

Hey babe. Thanks for sharing your experience. Personally I think you're a really, really brave person, what with having to cope with your health and having made the decision to move to where you are now. I really respect you for that ( ... )
