Ok, I'm not looking forward to another "JESUS CHRIST WHY WON'T YOH'S MOM LEAVE ME ALONE!?!!1111" post and I'm sure no one else is either. But I have to vent for even a small paragraph.
YOH'S MOM THINKS I'M RETARDED. RETARDED AND HOPELESSLY FOREIGN. Examples why she must think this:
1.) When a new batch of rice is ready in the rice cooker, she rushes past me and says to wait while she gets it for me since it is too hot. WTF. IT'S RICE. NOT LAVA OR SENSITIVE CHEMICALS WHICH NEED EXPERT HANDS. IT'S 'EFFING RICE GAWD DAMNIT!! *screech*
2.) I wake up. It is cloudy, and water is falling from the sky. The moment I leave the room, bleary-eyed in my PJs, she rushes up to me to say solemenly; "It's raining you know." ZOMFG IS IT?! WHY GOD HOW CAN THIS BE!? *faceplant*
3.) Every single day, at least once, often 5 or more times, she will ask me a million questions along the lines of what will I eat for supper, how I will eat it, where I will eat it, what time will I eat it at, and am I very, very sure I have the brain capacity to shovel food into my mouth and chew without help? Uuuugh C'mon.
4.) She has knocked on the bedroom (where I am hiding while Yoh's out) door about 5 times (without opening the door which made it retardedly hard to hear and made me want to pull my hair out since I TOLD HER SHE COULD COME IN AAAAAAH) to ask/tell me "Will you eat some crab?" followed by "I'm cooking now," then something I couldn't hear and wasn't keen to open the door and ask, then "It's ready," then "Are you eating?" and so forth. IMA WATCH TV AND EAT WHEN YOH GETS HOME.
Okay, any more than that and I'll feel like a total ass instead of just an ass since, again, his parents are letting us stay here, and as much as living at the moment makes me want to pull my hair and bang my tiny, foreign head against a wall, I have no other choice but to put up with it until my visa gets finished in *sob* a month or two *manly sob*
Had fantastic bibimba today. Korean food kicks ass. I plan on eating much Korean food to torment my stomach when I have to go to Korea this month (whooo!). It's so bizarre to me that a 3 day stay including return airfare, hotel and transportation is like $500 cheaper than a one day plane ticket. For the 3 day stay with all that, it's like $200. I was paranoid I'd be staying in some rat-infested cardboard box outside the Incheon airpoirt, but the hotel choices actually look pretty nice. So, Ima gonna go for 3 days, eat, perhaps shop a WEE bit, and hopefully get some non-airport pictures to remember my short Korea adventure.
I went walking/jogging for 2 hours yesterday and am feeling it today. I'm really not gaining a significant amount of weight, my lovehandles are just expanding along with a bit of my upper arms, but I want it to stop there, hence jogging frenzy. Plus Yoh has started calling me "Big Boy" just to piss me off XP
Ooh, Yoh got a Job he may actually like. He's gone through 2 different jobs so far, and this one is one he actually gets to cook at, so hopefully he'll like it. Plus, good money, good hours (it's VERY rare to find a lounge-dealie here that is closed Sunday's, so SCORE), and he actually gets to take off holidays on national holidays and after ones like Obon (also rare for lounge dealies here).
Also, Sherrisse visits in a month and a bit. ZOMFG I CAN STILL NOT BELIEVE THIS, IT'S TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS XD
