New bubba
Today I'm going to see Brookes baby (she's my oldest friend).
On Tuesday I was sending txt messages to her about her coming over the next day. She was supposed to be coming over for lunch. On Tuesday night out I get a message out of the blue saying
"I wont be able to make it for lunch, my water has just broke,
the baby is in breach, I'm having a c section."
I just wrote back "Ok and dont worry I've been through it all before, thinking of you, love ya"
It wasn't until after I sent the message that it all the sudden hit me and I started screaming and saying how excited I was.
I spoke to her Thursday night and she told me that when her water broke that it was all green which ment the baby was in distress. She went straight to the hospital and thats when they hooked her up and said "Yes your breach, the baby is in distress, you need to have an emergency C section straight away."
Imagine how stressed out she would have been. The baby was born just after 9 at only 5 pounds 6 and so he is tiny. She had him a week and a bit early but he was still very small. All of the 4 zero stuff just swims on him so I'm looking for stuff today before we leave.
She says he looks just like her and they have named him Lincon. I cant wait to see them.
It's still amazing that they are now a new family. I'll post pics when I get back.
