(no subject)
Wowzers, I haven't updated in quite a while!
I move back to school on the 19th of August (like, 2 weeks! yikes!). And I can't help but think how lazy I've been this summer. Granted, I did work doubletime at work, since one of my co-workers got into a very bad car accident with an 18 wheeler, so I was covering her shifts. But there's still a lot of stuff I wanted to do this summer and didn't.
I just got back from camping/LBI. Both of which were very fun. I began playing Risk a lot, so I'm gonna have to bring it to school and make everyone play with me!
I recieved a bunch of secondary/supplementary applications from medical schools, which is supper exciting...but super expensive, too. It's kinda annoying that you have to apply to school twice, only to score an interview, and then you get the final news...oh well...
My parents had it crazy hard this summer. Both of them lost their jobs in the same week. Luckily my Dad found something somewhat-temporary, but pays a lot more than he was making. My mom on the otherhand isn't so lucky. She's been really down lately. I secretly sent them flowers in the mail with a little note I wrote that my mom loves. She still doesn't know that I sent it.
Well, I'm going out to dinner with the Family (my dad couldn't come down the shore due to work, so we're going out tonight all together).
