when you came upon the ocean, you wondered why he'd made it so deep

when in disgrace with fortune in men's eyes
i all alone beweep my outcast state
and trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries
and look upon myself and curse my fate
wishing me like to one more rich in hope
featur'd like him, like him with friends possess'd
desiring this man's art, and that man's scope
with what i most enjoy contented least
yet in these thoughts almost myself despising
haply i think on thee - and then my state
like to the lark at break of day arising
from sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;
for thy sweet love remember'd, such wealth brings
that then i scorn to change my state with kings.

[shakespeare's words in rufus wainwright's mouth]

oh, it is my favorites. everyone, look at it and think about how much you love it.

furthermore, today, i shopped and shopped, but i managed to only by very little. some housewares at ikea and a pair of sunglasses. all things i needed and for very cheap all arounds. i have set financial goals for myself and imagining them helps me say no to stuff i don't need.
