DARUDE!
I had such a neat weekend. I got to go see Darude spin live!!!! He was playing at a night club in Washington DC. It was about 5 hours of driving each way. I was only there for about 5 hours too... That means I spent twice as much time going there as I actually spent there. It was so worth it to see him though. It was so fucking amazing. He had such a great stage presence and it was so cool because he was the only DJ playing that night, which means I got to spend 5 hours dancing to just Darude! For those of you who don't know who he is, you would probably recognize his song Sandstorm. I was so happy to hear his songs live, when one would come on that I recognized I would start going CRAZY. Well, I was going crazy pretty much the whole time. I was screaming every five seconds so my voice got bad and I was driving/dancing for so long that my legs still hurt like hell. I did get kind of fucked over in DC, but I don't want to focus on that part of the trip. He is going back to Finland now, but if you ever get the chance, go see Darude.
