Summary: Thoughtfulness isn't always good.
George was always thoughtful. Everything he saw, he analyzed. It was a good thing for his job: no detail went unnoticed. He made a great forensic psychiatrist. At home, however, it could be frustrating. Elliot sometimes felt like he was being psychoanalyzed in bed.
Occasionally that would lead to fights. Sometimes it would simply leave him puzzled, trying to figure it all out.
How could someone think all the time? Everyone needs a break some time. Except George, apparently. He doesn’t understand George at all, and that irks him- more so because George can read him like a book.
Thoughtfulness isn’t always helpful.
