"Then don't come."
"That's not what I meant." Elliot retorted.
George sighed. "I'm no happier about being called in by the feds than you are. But I'm an FBI agent, I can't tell them no."
"Then quit." Elliot said stubbornly.
"I don't want to do that either." George said.
"Fine, I guess I'll come with you." Elliot said, backing down.
"It'll be fine." George said gently.
"I hope so." Elliot huffed.
"What's the worst that can happen?"
"A drive with you? That a worst case scenario in itself. 'That guy ran a red light, does that mean his mom was domineering?'" Elliot said playfully. George hit his arm.
