A fun night
With my roommate's wonderful schedule, things are fucked up. I get off work at 1000, he sleeps until 1200. I need to be in bred by 1330, he's getting ready for work until about 1445, so I end up with about 5hrs of sleep.
But yesterday I had to be up early to make it to ritual. But since that left me with two hours of sleep I woke up, barely, and changed the alarm clock and went right back to sleep. It woke me up again at the normal time to go to work, then I remembered that I didn't have to be in on time, I had aranged to come in late because of ritual. So I reset the alarm clock and went back to sleep.
Then, some one is pounding on my door. Thinking that the people I work with forgot that I was going to come in late, I answered it. But no, turns out that I was supposed to be on guard duty. Another fun change with this new job. So I hurridly dress, tear the room apart looking for an item of cold weather gear which wasn't to be found, and did my gaurd shift. Then it was time to go to work.
That's when I found out that there was a miscommunication between me and another guy on the shift (well, that's what he called it anyway, my description isn't as nice) so on a shift normally manned by 6 people (really only needs 3) had just 2. One was a private and the other a dumbass NCO. So i got chewed, politely, by the major who heads our shift.
Now I'm waiting to go home and shower, since I couldn't do that before work. Eww.
