tonight I'm teaching at circle on the Bahai faith, I'm excited about it. Doing something I like to do about a subject I really like.
Of course I got the days mixed up so only had one day to get the hand out all typed out. So the first 6 hours of my shift were spent researching and typing it up. The history has a lot of persecution as was depressing at times; why do authorities always want to torture and kill the people saying that we should all just get along? But with ssendas help I got out of that quickly and on the finer points.
I will post it, but I forgot my thumbdrives at work so don't have the soft copy with me.
I plan on going over the history and basic beleifs quickly, then spend most of the time on open discussion of some of the founding principles. Most classes end up either as one person just droning on, or each person reading out from a hand out, both kind of boring. I want to make it a bit more interactive, maybe hold a few people's interest.
I've had a blast with the rings that ssendas sent me, and made a couple things;
Originally meant to be a bracelet, but way too thick so I'm using it as a key ring
And the main idea, a chainmaile dice bag.
