Pepper ended up working from the main Stark plant yesterday, as her car had stalled out, and taking the train home. Most days, that's hardly call for concern, but yesterday was... evidently not most daysAdd to that the fact that there's been no sign of her so far this morning, and, well. Jarvis is concerned. Time is strange. So, even though the train accident was last night for Jarvis, it's still the same evening for Pepper. Stumbling into the Inn, she winces, brushing some blood off of her cheek. Damnit. Her suit jacket is torn, and she generally looks much more dishevelled than usual.

Shit. Looking up, she blinks. This is certainly not the train wreck she just came from.

No, it's a step up, in some ways. The company would be one of them. Speaking of which, Jarvis is on his way over the second he sees her.
"Are you all right?"

"Jarvis?" Pepper blinks a few times. "I think there was a train accident." She pauses. "And I have a horrible headache."

"There was. It's... been long enough, for me, that the news is all over the place."
He suspects, whether Pepper's alive or not (and he sincerely hopes she is), the inn is playing silly buggers with time, at present.
