Pepper ended up working from the main Stark plant yesterday, as her car had stalled out, and taking the train home. Most days, that's hardly call for concern, but yesterday was... evidently not most days.
Add to that the fact that there's been no sign of her so far this morning, and, well. Jarvis is concerned. So he's checking the inn, just in case.
(What exactly he's hoping to find... he's not sure.)
