Something's wrong with the door. Tony Stark is a certifiable genius, but, honestly, this is his first actual thought upon arriving. You try opening your garage doors and stepping into a hotel lobby. Naturally, alarm follows. Tony's second thought is actually a rush of many panicked thoughts, such as, Where the hell is/are my

a.) cars
b.) suit
c.)

It would be too easy, in the narration's estimation, to start with someone Tony would know. So instead, he gets a guy at a table doing a problem set.
(Yes, this is what Cosmo does for fun. When he's not doing it for homework, anyway; then, his fun gets a little unorthodox.)
Odds are there is a bar in there somewhere, since Tony wouldn't be the first or the last to expect one.

While making his way through the hotel, Tony sees not the man but the problem set and is, at once, intrigued. He may try to keep that side of himself hidden, but once a math geek, always a math geek. He makes his way over the table but stays back, looming just a bit, trying to solve the problem in his head.

Before long, the looming catches Cosmo's attention. It's one of those things.
"Um. Hi. Can I help you?"

(OOC: Meant to mention last night, but - Cosmo hit me with the doozy that he's a fan of the Iron Man comics. I don't know if it'll come up in conversation, but... just so you know. XD)

Tony raises an eyebrow. "Huh? No, sorry. I was just, uh," he waves his hands at the problem set, "Just caught my attention, that's all."

Pepper is sitting at a table, merrily working on her laptop, oblivious to everyone around. But then again, since when does Pepper not do that?

Tony spots Pepper, red hair like a bullseye, and weaves his way through the lobby. He takes a seat without asking and peers at the laptop screen. "Please tell me you're working on getting us back to Malibu. I mean, seriously Potts, what is going on?"

"Back, sir?" Pepper looks up. "I was there last night." She pauses. "Oh dear, sir. You can't see a door, can you?"

[starktony]

Tony sighs. "Honestly, I'm just a little more than confused at the moment." He scans the surroundings and shakes his head. "I thought I was coming down to the garage and ended up here."
