There's good news, and there's bad news.
The good news is, the half-finished locket's turned up, so they've got that secured. The bad news is... there's still no trace of the bloody diary. Regulus and Evans are working on a charm to track it down, but that's going slowly - trying to combine existing spells hasn't gone so well, and trying to do this sort of thing from scratch isn't easy.
He's on the verge of contacting Snape to see if he wants in on it, considering he's got practice, but Regulus would also rather the people involved in this not kill each other over old wounds.
For now, he's just taking advantage of the interdimensional space to try to research the problem a bit further.
