"DOOOOCTOOOOOR!"
You'll hear him before you see him. A more than slightly worried shout echoing down the stairs, well in advance of his arrival.
And then Jack comes rocketing down the stairs, almost slamming into the wall as he turns the corner, and runs into the lobby of the inn, just managing to skid to a halt before slamming into a table

Of course, anyone yelling doctor like that is bound to catch anyone with a PhD's attention.
"I'm a doctor!" He bounces to his feet, folders in a mess on the floor. Pout. Totally not cool, but then he looks up and notices the seriousness of this man's face and quickly focuses in on him. "What happened?"

"Sorry. I meant someone specific, not you. I'm just..." He runs a hand through his hair distractedly and looks around the room. The Doctor's got to be around somewhere. There's been some version of him in here almost constantly since Jack got here.

"Emergency is a mild term," he growls. "My friend's supposed to be saving the world, and instead, she's sick in my room coughing up blood."
Yeah, sure, he could drag an actual medical doctor up there, but if he's like most people around here, he's only from the 21st century, and they don't have the technology to fix Martha fast enough to make Jack happy. Of course, he'd only be happy with an instant cure, all things considered...

"Well, I think that's certainly a new way to say it. I particularly like the over pronounced 'o' at the beginning." Approaching Jack slowly, he offers the other a the faint flicker of a smile before his more concerned nature really takes over. "Is there something the matter?"
Because people screaming his name? Generally speaking, not a good thing.

Therefore, he takes the Fifth Doctor in stride.
"I was actually looking for the Tenth, but you'll do." He takes the Doctor by the arm and just starts walking toward the stairs with him. He promised Martha he'd be back in two minutes. "Martha's sick."
Because he'll even know who Martha is, as far as Jack knows.

Following after Jack (because he really didn't seem to have a choice) he thinks to question the other, thinks to question why this fellow feels odd, feels different, but the mention of Martha clears his mind completely.
"Martha is?" there's deep concern in his voice, "What has happened to her?"

"She's been walking around the world. Don't ask me why, she can't tell me, but apparently there's something apocalyptic going on. And now she's got a fever and she's coughing up blood, which is only to be expected when you walk through South America without even getting a shot, but..."
It's Martha. Jack expects her to be immune to everything, because she's Martha.

"Slow down, what's wrong?"

"Not the end of the world or anything, just... my friend."
Oh, Jack. With the eloquent explanations.

It's with this in mind that he'll get to his feet, eyebrows raised and stride over to the other. Because really, whatever he's going to tell him can't be that terrible, can it? Sure he looks scared out of his mind but really that's not too much cause for alarm.
...Okay yes, yes it is.
"What? What is it? What's happened?"

Jack takes a moment to, well, breathe after his sprint down the stairs before responding. Just a moment, though, because the two minutes he promised Martha are ticking down. Yes, he's taking this very seriously.
"Martha needs you upstairs. She's... sick."

The Doctor looks at him almost blankly for just a moment before starting back up the stairs two at a time.
"Well let's go then! We can't do anything for her standing around down here!"
he's ignoring things like anything that could even remotely tell him what's going on but he can get those once he ses Martha. That and he's sure Jack is going to fill him in, at least a little while they rush back to her.

"My room," he says shortly, just so the Doctor knows where he's going. "Second floor up, fifth on the left." Of course, it's got his name on it and everything, but you never know with the Doctor.
"She's been walking around the world, you know. South America... Africa... All full of nasty things that can give you a fever and make you cough up blood."
