There's not much Regulus can do about Narcissa's letter until the package it promised arrives. Yes, the alert that it's coming helps immensely, but aside from telling her not to send it during breakfast, that's a waiting game.
So today, he's settled in at one of the inn's tables with some tea and his other piece of post. Since he's decided to do this flat-hunting thing, he's determined to do it thoroughly, and what good is having access to a place that gives you extra time if you don't use that extra time to its fullest?
