April is listening to her walkman and looking through a catalog on her datapad. The height of fashion from around the galaxy. She's looking for the perfect dress. She hasn't found it yet. She knows she will

Because there is an April, there, of course, must be a JD. He leans over her shoulder and tilts his head at the datapad with a smile.

"I need one of those!"

He is girly, but he's not referring to the dresses.

April laughs and hooks her finger over the neckline of his shirt, pulling him down for a kiss. "You'd have to talk to Valentine about it, but I'm sure she'd oblige. Would you be able to use it, though?"

JD + Technology = Not The Best Idea.

JD gives a bright smile at the kiss.

"I dunno! What does it do?" He tilts his head against hers, looking at it. "And it's kinda cool and Star Wars-y and stuff!"

[fallen_april]

"Well... it's an organizer. And a communicator, when I'm on Tatooine. And a book reader. Um, they have book programs on, like... memory cards?" She grins a little. "I'm sort of attached to it."

[sensi_doctor]

"Oooh, neat! See, I could have fun with one of these." JD pauses and looks at her sideways with a wide smile, kissing her. "It's so sexy when you say Tatooine. And so weird and cool to think you've actually been there amongst Jedi and the force and stuff!"

He gets a laugh for that. "It's sexy? That's one of the weirder things you've said."

The narration snickers at the thought of how he's going to react when their second child is found to be force-sensitive. That'll be a fun day.

"If that's one of the weirder things I've said, I'm glad I don't say most of what goes on in my head." JD pauses, tilting his head to the side and making a face. "... like that. I shouldn't have said that."

He gets a kiss for that. "You can say as many weird things as you want to. I think it's cute."

[sensi_doctor]

JD smiles and kisses her again a little longer.

"Which is part of what makes you so special. Everyone else makes confused faces and then run. Or humor me sometimes. Or yell at me, but that's just Dr. Cox... who does... that." That brings a small frown. He hasn't talked to his mentor in... since the fight about sex.

Yes, he misses being yelled at and called girl's names by the doctor he respects more than any other. He's a bit of a masochist.

"You still haven't talked to him, have you?" she asks softly. It's not exactly hard to guess, with JD. She snuggles up to him. "You really should, y'know."

[sensi_doctor]

"I know. He just... hasn't been here or anything. I will when we get back." JD says quietly and wraps his arms around her. "Oh, God! I almost forgot. I saw Buffy. Did you see Buffy? She's here. She's really here and not okay, but at least, she's here!"

"I did!" April bounces a little. "I saw her, and I told her about the wedding and I asked her to be my maid of honor for the ceremony here."

She hasn't asked the person she wants for the "home" ceremony. And she's thinking about broaching the subject of having a simple ceremony at the Jedi Academy, too. She misses home.

JD smiles, brightly.

"You did? God, I love you." He leans in to kiss her and pulls back with a sheepish grin. "I mean cause I had thought that I would've liked for her to be a part of the wedding if only she'd- Well, that doesn't matter, because she will be. Now. Because she's here!"

[fallen_april]

"Yes!" Bounce.

Pause. "Um... I was thinking... I know it's a lot, but... maybe we could have one more ceremony?"

At home.

[sensi_doctor]

"Of course! Whatever you want as long as I get to marry you. I don't care how many times." JD says, smiling and leaning against her. "But after all this ceremony, we'd better go on one heck of a honeymoon."

[fallen_april]

April giggles and kisses him. "If the TARDIS will behave herself, the Doctor said he'd take us somewhere for our honeymoon if we want. And it'll save on travel expenses."

:D? Because even if she doesn't behave herself, they're likely to end up somewhere awesome.
