Pansy smirked at the boy standing outside her door. 'Nice sweater,' she said. 'I wondered when I might find you on more doorstep. Sadly, though, I fear it has more to do with your missing a certain purring ball of fur more than missing me, but we're going to pretend I'm the main attraction...'

She opened the door and gestured inside. 'Welcome to my adode...'

"Thank you. It's already a bit chill on the ground. Broom flight makes it thrice worse. If you're a good girl, I'll even let you pet it. It's soft." Chambers smirked, then bowed before her formally. He took her hand and kissed as if he were courting. "Of course, mademoiselle. How could I not find my ass attractive?" With a wink and a nod, he stepped inside to have a look around.

He had to admit, Parkinson had great taste.

"Nice indeed. I should have hired you to plan out my Lair. I still might, seeing as it's mostly empty now." Chambers was proud that the statement only caused a slight sigh. It was progress. "So do I get the privilege of a full tour?"

Pansy stopped short, confused by his comment a moment. Then she figured it out and giggled. She followed him into her flat. 'Mostly empty?' she repeated. 'But what happened to...?' she started to query before thinking better of it. 'Nevermind...' she said softly.

'I'd love to give you a tour!' she said proudly, leading him towards her kitchen. 'And I have real food in here,' she announced after making him look at her flower shaped dishes. 'I still don't cook much, but I can boil water without burning the pan. Or my feet,' she added, thinking about the time the pan had boiled over when we was barefoot and had had to hop up to the counter to avoid having the bottom of her feet scalded.

Chambers tossed a contemplative look over his shoulder at Pansy. He hadn't considered talking to others about Roger. Not since Terry, at least. Malfoy's mocking certainly hadn't engendered any further need to confess. But Pansy obviously hadn't provoked any feelings of defensiveness or vulnerability. Studying her face briefly, he decided it was probably because she reminded him of someone once close to him. It took him a moment to realise who. He blinked and looked away a bit surprised.

"He left," Chambers answered simply enough. He then allowed himself to be distracted by the sights and amused by Pansy. Yes, he could understand the resemblance now, even the tenacity. "Boiling will get you far in the culinary world," he quipped as he eyed her food stock, then her. "However, you do know that it's not enough to simply have the food? You must eat it too. My Gods woman, I think my trousers would fall off those hips. We'll have to remedy that. After the tour." Chambers smirked playfully then gestured for her to continue.
