It had been late coming, but Remus had wanted to find the perfect gift for the birthday boy. Or at least something Severus wouldn't mind his name being signed to. At last, yesterday, in Diagon Alley he had come across the perfect gift.
Severus had even smiled when he saw it. It was a good sign.
