Luneth: Roomate - one of the first people he met when he came to Luceti. Luneth has helped Link quite a bit, and Link's very thankful for it.
Riku: Acquaintance - the first person who responded via the journals. He gave Link some pretty good starting information.
Hurdy: Acquaintance - He actually doesn't know his name yet. He only knows him as the 'moogle'.
Link: Acquaintance - A COPYCAT! This guy claims he's from Hyrule, which is a little crazy. Not only that, but he said Link looked like a 'kokiri'. Link doesn't know who or what that is, but there's something familiar about that word... had he heard it before?
Ruto: Acquaintance - She said she was from Hyrule, too! She gave him a really useful guide, but she also started asking him so many questions. He's not sure what to think.
