Have been wanting to do more Awoi songs, and this one was a welcome distraction. Without further ado~

The kanji are from the 葵/Aoi booklet, romaji and translation is done by me. Notes are as usual to be found at the of the post.

The place he mentions is in Osaka

So far I haven't really come across any not-sad Awoi song... This is one of my favourites though. One of them I can "happily sing along" to, heh.

What did you make of the very last line? I never took heed of it before I was about to translate it, and then suddenly I interpreted it a little differently. Like... "... oh..."

When it's just about "listening" to Awoi, I like "Rain" very much...

Hm, the very last line. Is there much room for interpreting? It could be wishful thinking, as sort of relief that 'somebody else' made the decision (s)he (her)himself feels to weak and stupid to make it.

Or should it say that (s)he is still alive and lucky about the fact and therefore willing to go on living?
