Well, this morning was Surgery Numero Cuatro, my last one, baby! Hell YES! Even though the anesthetic is working, my foot kind of stings, which is weird. Vito warned me against doing surgery today, because he said it might not be comfortable later because I already have an open sore on the same part of my foot, but I decided to just go with it anyway. I was already there, right? Plus, I'm a wrestler (Just ask Lauren!) I can take it. *manly grunt*
Anyway, I tried pointe for the first time in ballet this Tuesday with only half broken in shoes. Didn't exactly work. That combined with the surgery foot = EEEEEEEK. I tried to stay up there, but the teacher advised me to sit down, and I figured that was a pretty good idea.
Vito says that the sores will be healed totally in about a month. Which kinda sucks cuz it's a long time, but it's better than, say, a month and a day, no? Exactly. The big one is already closed up (I could give you some narsty details about that, but I will refrain, being the ladylike, polite, girl that I am. *spits out chewing tobbacco*).
Only thing though, post op on my BIRTHDAY! I know, right! Since my dad is friends with everyone there (Who is my dad NOT friends with?) I told him that he better call in advance and have them ready with a cupcake. I guess it's kinda cool since I get to miss a few classes. But ya'll better remember the date - December 2nd. (Note: If I have not succeeded in buying you a birthday present and your birthday has passed, you do not have to remember).
On a different note, puppy is growing older. She's quite big now. She's got a urinary tract infection, which reminds me so much of camp. Gives me camp nostalgia. Anyway, even though sometimes I don't look forward to taking care of her, she's always so happy to see me, and she always makes me feel happy. It's amazing that she can hold so much love in her little body. She is cute. She is really cute.
Maria has succeeded in making my day. She's been spying on me with that look of hers all period. I would say it's nostalgic - but I don't long for 8th grade in the slightest. But it's funny, and it brings back memories. Maria my love - you are so wonderfully, unmatchably insane. I guess it's kind of hard to understand what I'm describing unless you're here. Before she made my day because I was standing here typing all of a sudden I hear in my right ear: "DAO!" (Ya know, like the song. "Me say DAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOO.")
While I was typing that she snook up on me in my left ear and snorted really loudly. We laughed so hard we disturbed the library.
I'm done rambling. Maria wins the person of the day!
