I'm not what you would call politically savy. I only follow things these days because my friend post links w/ catchy phrases and my partner is "an extreme socialist with severly liberal beliefs".
I tend to make calls on things like this http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081103/pl_nm/us_bush because I like wolves and I think they're fluffy and cute and deserve to not be pushed into extinction. I'm sure there are more logical and sound arguements for preserving the endangered species list and prevening power plants from operating near national parks but mine is as simple as " i think most animals are cute and they were here before us and therefore we should respect them."
I do however have a "I like being able to breathe and not putting up with acid rain" attitude towards regulations on polution and coal-mining etc.
This man infuriates me. I hope the election doesn't distract people enough to get these hasty policies pushed forward.
