(no subject)
worked last night, but there is apparently a clean sight line from the patio of my store all the way to the mall where the fireworks were, so I got to stand outside with maybe 20 other people (as ooposed to 200) and watch the show. :)
It was nice. I think I"ll try and remember that part of dupont allows you to see things.
I'm glad I got to see them. When I was in highschool, I always worked the holidays, and on the 4th the store was dead so we would go outside and sit on the hood of my car to watch the show because the did the fireworks on the river, and we were close enough to downtown to see things over the rooftop of my store.
It was a nice little flash back, and a pretty cozy memory. :)
