Graaaiiins
Last week there was an event in San Jose called "Zombie Crawl". (http://www.zombieorama.com)
Since it was happening a block from home Brehn and I skipped his open house at school (he spends all day there... sheesh) and went out for some fun.
The crowds were largely mellow and playful. Random people played and interacted with Brehn which was really kewl. My only real complaint is that there were so many people there taking pictures that it was almost like 1/2 the people there were actors and the other half were spectators. The only time I really had to say anything was when I was trying to get a picture of Brehn during battle with Zombie Spider-Man and some guys were totally in my way. I said something like, "Can I take a picture of my kid?" with that tone I learned from my mom. It was effective. I missed a few other shots that I wanted to get but I got a few that I think really capture the event.
It was a lot of fun listening to people scuffle around saying, "braiins... BRAAAIINNSS!!" heh.
We did not stick around for the outdoor showing of "Shaun of the Dead" as well, I've personally seen that movie a MILLION times and we've got it at home but also because the next day was a school day. There were quite a few people watching the movie. It was kewl to see them all watching and laughing together.
There was a long line for make up at SLG (www.slgcomic.com).

One of the make up people said that Brehn has perfect skin for this. heh
And now begins pictures of zombies....
Zombie brides. They look straight out of some B&W B film because of the desaturation.
This guy has the bored look necessary for being a believable zombie down pat.
Nope. Not too soon.

It's a little confusing but pretty zombie is pretty.
Here zombie Brehn is attacking the star attraction zombies. Not sure why the zombies were fighting exactly...
Brehn grabbed some of Zombie Spider-Man's webbing and turned it into brain matter. Ewww.
Even zombies need to watch their daily caloric intake and make sure they get roughage.
