So here's the breakdown. I got something come my way thats bigger than anything I've sought out so far.
A job of course. I'd be doing practically the same thing my Dad is. I'd work for a company called NVS as a service manager in lighting. Which means that tenatively I'd be looking after three Lowe's stores. Short Pump, West Broad, and one store downtown. I'd be my own boss as well. I'd make my own schedule, and I answer to myself. I can work one of any four shifts I choose for any given day: 6a-2:30p, 7-3:30, 8-4:30, 9-5:30. I would be making 12-13$ an hour. Working 5 days a week, holidays and weekends off. Though I can arrange it so I can take weekdays off.
As far as what thejob entails, basically I'd be messing with lighting displays, installing the occasional fan, and well... changing lightbulbs. My Dad says that for the money you make doing it, thats it's very easy.
With such things as Nekocon, the launch of the Wii, as well as the holidays and a few other yet to be celebrated special events.. it seems like a good idea. I need to at least call the appropriate person by wednesday. I may end up sitting on it for most of if not all of tuesday just to be sure. For a few reasons, including just, not putting myself in another Kroger-like position.
