Tell me he hasn't won you over? Oh and I started watching The Crimson Field which Rik is in. Really good. So sad it only had a season.

Oh, I know!! Have your heard officially that it won't have a second season? If it was adapted from existing material, maybe there isn't more to draw on. I can't recall offhand if it was adapted from a book.

I did. So sad. I watched it and LOVED it. They could wing it. I'd like to know what would happen to the nurse... prison? Her fiance? Oh my goodness. I want to see what happens with the nurse and her daughter.... I forget all their names but I loved it.

Have you seen Homefires? I liked that. It takes place during WWII. Really enjoyable.

No, I've never seen Homefires. It's a British show, isn't it? I'll see if I can find it on line.

I agree that there should be more of The Crimson Field even if they have to create more story. The BBC isn't renewing it for a second season. Do your watch Game of Thrones? The woman who played the nurse (Oona Chaplin, Charlie's g'daughter) played Rob Stark's wife in GOT. She was pregnant and murdered in The Red Wedding episode.

That is where I'd seen her from! I do watch GOT though not the last season. I have them. Just need to watch.

You might still be able to stream Homefires from PBS's site. I know you don't have a lot of bandwidth but didn't you say late at night you could stream stuff.

Yes, I do streaming stuff after midnight usually. I've been watching Mozart in the Jungle (Amazon Prime) and future Downton Abbey episodes recently. I'll check for Homefires when I finish these.

I don't think I saw Homefires on there but it might be on the PBS app on Prime. Worth checking. DA is.
