The library was dark, with a few lonely lights illuminating the room, giving it an almost mystical air. One of the lanterns was sitting next to a woman, sitting cross-legged against a wall, reading quietly. Stacked beside her were piles of books, two of them about shoulder height.
The loudest sound was the turn of the page and occassional spark jumping from the single fireplace. It had an ornate china guard in front of it to protect the books.
