Ruby looked back slightly and sagged back against Alec, almost the same time as Jude's fingers slipped from her neck -- he was respectful about that. She smiled a little at him and leaned her head against his chest, taking his hands to wrap his arms around her waist.

It wasn't Ruby who answered him though, it was Julia. "PIZZA!! YES!!" She sat up quickly and effectively got the attention of everyone in the room, save for the twins. Nicholas had popped right up and was balancing on the balls of his bare feet, giving Ruby one of his most heartbreaking smiles. It made her want to just hug him to pieces and the sing him a lullabye. He just exuded sweetness that much.

"Mushroom! We should get mushroom," Julia continued, ignoring the way William had put his hands on her shoulders to keep her from falling off the couch. Nicholas was nodding his agreement and after a moment and a look to William he started listing off all the kinds of pizzas he wanted to try. Even Jude put in his two cents, agreeing wholeheartedly when Nicholas brought up white pizza. Ava suggested pineapple and that got the whole of them with wide eyes and amusement.

William just gently propelled Nicholas onto the couch and gave Ruby a look.

Laughing, Ruby took her eyes off of Julia and looked back at Alec, shrugging a little against him. "You sure you want to meet the family?"

He hadn't actually meant to displace Jude like that, but it was what it was. He leaned down a rubbed his cheek against Ruby's before kissing it. "You've met mine. They can't be any worse that Dean with no coffee, Max on the rag or Mole being Mole." He looked around doing mental math. Number of people to feed. All of them could most likly eat like he and Ruby. The rest of the Ordinary family, the guard post that would ferry the pizza fromt he gate to him. . .topping preference, favorites of ghe people not pressent, cash on hand for tip, how much extra it was goign to cost him to get the delivery dude to stop somewere and buy pink lemonaide for Ruby. It took him about a minute. Literally. He pulled out his cell and made an order and demanded to speak to the delivery kid for the extra instructions.

"Dinner is ordered. Introductions?"

"You know Jude," she said with a smile to both of her boys, before disentangling herself from Alec and taking his hand to meet the rest of the demons.

Well, the rest of them save for Ava, she was Sam's deal.

King was first, but thankfully Julia draped herself all over him so he was too distracted to be a hideous asshole -- instead being just an average asshole. "Alec, this is Kingsbury and Julia, most commonly known as Jules and liable to answer to 'hey slut'. She'll also make out with you if you get too close." Julia rolled her eyes at Ruby, but didn't counter. The truth was the truth. She gave Alec a bright smile and stuck out King's hand.

King was not pleased with having to shake hands, but Julia was stronger than him so she kept his hand still so Alec could shake it. "Hiiii Alec!" she trilled softly with a bright smile. King said nothing, just nodded.

Jude got the normal dude nod. He did not mis the by-play between Julia and Kingsbury. That she was keeping him busy our that she was apparently stronger. He shook the man's hand. Julia was putting in an effort, so he would to. The man got a nod back, but not the dude nod. Alec did smile at Julia. Flirty enough to be fun, but they all knew who shared his bed, at least figuritivly. Literally was a whole diferent ball game. "I'll stick to calling you Julia or Jules, hows that."

"Works for me, sugar," Julia told him with a wink before pushing Kingsbury against the wall. He needed more distracting, so Ruby could introduce Alec to the rest of them.

Which she did. "That's Sassafras and Saffron," she told him absentmindedly, waving a hand towards the sleeping twins. "Ava." Another handwave.

"William, this is Alec. Alec? This is William." William stood up to his full height and put out his hand to shake, smiling in that small way of his. He was friendly, but because of his demeanor he always came off slightly intimidating, even to Ruby and she'd known him for centuries. He was a terrifying man.

He gave her that flirty cocky smile of his. One that he would never back up but that didn't stop him from playing.

The twins are noted and filed. He raises and eyebrow are Ava. "Wilson?" Huh. Interesting.

The formal introduction to William was not lost on Alec. He looked up. And up. And then shook the man's hand. Nobody frightened him after Madame Renfro, but the next spot in line would always belong to Colonel Lydecker. Whch was a shame because he thought maybe this man was more worthy of it. This was someone who needed respect. "Never thought I'd meet some one bigger than Joshua. Huh." It sort of slipped out. "Good to meet you."

William nodded before settling back in his chair. "And you."

Ruby could have hit him, her stoic little fucking dick. He could have said more than two words and she glared at him a little before she felt Nicholas' hand brush against hers and she looked at her baby with a smile. "Hi Nicholas."

He gave her a smile that could have made an ice cap melt and gave Alec a shy once over.

"Nicholas, this is Alec." She nudged him forward a little and as if by accident, he stuck his hand out like William had and tried to stand up to his full height, which was still shorter than Alec. "Hello."

Oh, this new one has a face made to break hearts. He would have done Manticore proud. Then he looked at the kid, really looked and he was pretty sure the kid, who very likly could be older than him, didn't know he had a face like that. He knew that look. There was something still untouched about him. Like some of the other transgenics. Even though he was a demon. "Hey." He smiled.

"Nicholas is our baby," Ruby said, ruffling Nicholas' hair. "Aren't you, babydoll?" Nicholas nodded quickly in agreement, but he couldn't help watching Alec. Ruby thought he might have a crush. Which, by the way, she thought was totally adorable and could not helping imagining... Well, she couldn't help imagining, okay? Over active imagination.

Turning to look at Alec again she winked. "That's the family."

"Well, at least it's fair. Cracked out on both sides." He grins. "And we each have a set of twins. So it all evens out." He looks around again and makes a mental note to get a credit card from Dean and get it to the north east gate before the pizza arrives. He liked the smile on Ruby's face. Liked her having family.

"Nicholas is checking you out," she said to Alec as soon as Nicholas is out of earshot, scampering across the room to talk to Jude. "I think he wants to screw the wife and the husband," she added with a sneaky little smile, backing away until she reached the window and ducked onto the fire escape. William could handle them on his own for a while. They would just have to disentangle Julia and King before she hurt him.

Ruby pouted at him. "Well there go all of my naughty ideas. I'll just have to use Jules," she teased, wrapping her arms around Alec's waist and standing on tip toe to kiss him softly.

She was tired, it'd been a tiring couple of weeks and maintaining happy demons made her even more tired and really, all she wanted to do was sleep.

But the over active imagination of hers had put thoughts into her head and she didn't think she'd be sleeping that night. "Or maybe William can take your spot, hmm?"

He growled when she brought up William taking his place, but it was more playfull thant anything else. He kissed he back and then pulled her in for a hug and just let her rest. He'd hold her up for a while. "Do I get to watch you and Jules?"

Obliges her. "Jules is hot. But not as hot as you." He doesn't even mean to flatter, just stating his oppinion. He kisses her then, all slow slow like, and then rests his forhead against hers. "How are you doing?" Because the room a shit load of personality to manage.
