Emma Watson announced that her next film was a live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, the most heartwarming Disney tale ever to be based around Stockholm syndrome.
While I am still *BOGGLE* at the whole phenomenon of making live-action versions of cartoon movies, perhaps I should be relieved - rather than AAAAARGH! - that they are not proposing a remake of the
classic 1946 live-action version of the tale directed by Jean Cocteau. Or maybe that is what they are really doing ?
And further on, perhaps you should look a little bit at the wider context,
They were reclining beauties with ecstatic expressions - and lift-out intestines. Enter the necrophiliac world of 18th-century anatomical models.
I would really like this set in the world in which medical instruments and paraphernalia were as a general rule being made as one-off bespoke items by craftsman who were about aesthetics as well as functionality, in which case, these models, though still creepy to the modern eye, would have that context.
