Mad social whirl
And after last night's excursion to Cambridge, this evening there was a work-related book launch.
Which was very nice and at which I stayed far longer than I'd intended.
And the rest of September and early October is an ongoing mad whirl of social events, conferences, etc.
In the course of which I do, actually, have to:
Make notes for brief talk at work-related event to which I shall be contributing;
Write a short conference paper;
Finish edit of the biography ms;
Do a report on a grant application;
Input into the exhibition project I seem to have signed myself up for;
And that is all by early Oct. I still have 4 books sitting around making me feel guilty about the reviews of them which are due.
