*edit* Drove 40 minutes to IKEA. They didn't have the three bookends I wanted, but got two of them in the as is - dirty as sin, but a little scrubbing should take care of that - and ended up with one ugly, ugly bookend. I can deal with that. In fact, the two that I like being on sale makes up for that.
