Resolutions, and list of books I've read to date...

Dec 29, 2009 20:36

I'll do the resolutions first.

1. Read 100 graphic novels, mangas, or novels this year. Mostly novels, though, and I'm hoping to do sci-fi, ST, horror, that kinda thing...

2. Lose some weight.

3. Watch 100 movies. Ones that are either new, or I haven't seen in over a couple years.

4. Rewatch Enterprise, STA, and then TOS. In that order.

5. Rewatch five seasons of TV.

6. Watch five seasons of new TV.

7. 20+ stories/chapters of fanfic.

8. 100,000 words of new fiction.

9. Up to 5,000 art pieces scanned.

10. Apply to grad school.

11. Learn Vulcan

12. Meditate. Daily. Start at fifteen minutes a day, moving up to at least an hour a day.

13. Start to phase into becoming a vegetarian. At least try...

14. Organize my room. Keep it organized.

Yes, I'll be lucky to do half of this. I'm an overachiever, I know it. I was also hoping to do 100 books in '09; I decided this 75 books in a couple months ago. At 87, I think I did damn well...

I'm almost done with the Destiny trilogy, whoo! I'll be reading Singular Destiny, Sorrows of Empire (omg, Mirror!Spock would be so uber-hot without the goatee...), and a gender/queer study of ST.

Also, I'm going to stop watching Enterprise. Enterprise s4 can be my first of the five seasons of new TV, and Heroes 2+3 will be rewatches. So will Fringe s1. Because I <3 Walter. So bad.

I have a geek/Vulcan post, but I think that will wait for later. Also, I'm probably not going to post more about my sister moving out until she's back home. That drama? I just can't talk about it right now, sorry Kat.
