As far as Hasi's social ventures go, this has to be one of the more interesting ones she's undertaken, both in terms of its scope and its gravity. The well-educated, ambitious people in attendance are from the sort of old money (by and large) that she doesn't think she was even acquainted with in the States, and she did know some pretty ridiculously privileged types at home, all parvenu in terms of the matter of social class- but she thinks about it, as Almos's driver takes them to the house in Belgrave Square where they'll be spending the evening, and she knows it doesn't really matter where they come from. They've all got the same neuroses.
Just different resources.
Thus she shows no nervousness when they arrive- a couple of minutes late, but not egregiously so, and dinner has yet to be served. Almos has told her one of his old flames may or may not be in attendance, so she's prepared for that, but she's not sure it needs to be an issue; she's not his girlfriend. She's not even sure she's comfortable being called his date, but if she couldn't handle that she wouldn't have come, and here she is. Even if she only knows one person, Hasibe decides, it'll be worth putting on this little black dress (which is still awfully figure-hugging even if it's not a flashy cocktail dress like what she usually wears- tonight it's a touch more Audrey than Sophia, but that's what's appropriate; style is not about skin, after all) and showing up- she makes friends easily.
That said, she'll let Almos handle introductions, once they're in the door.
