My Bedroom
Hi Everyone! I posted earlier this week with images of my apartment - you can view the entry [ here], but I also wanted to do a post of my room at my parent's house.
I moved out a few years ago (after I graduated college), but I still visit often since they live nearby. I have about equal amounts of stuff at both places and I'm easily able to swap items around (mostly this applies to clothing, shoes, and media - books, dvds, etc).
Also, I should note that the bedroom I'm in now used to be a guest room. My parents and I decided that it made sense for me to move my stuff to one of the smaller bedrooms, since I'm no longer living there. The room color (lavender) and most of the wall decorations are from before and not my doing.

Other side of the room. The three frames are my only contributions to the wall decor.
Shoes, I bought the rack [here] from Target + the majority of my stuffed animals (Believe it or not, I used to have a lot more, but over the years I've given most of them away).
Desk area. I only have a laptop since my desktop is at the apartment.
Close-up of the items on the top shelf organizer (next to the desk) - The three Lord of the Rings figures in front were given to me by a friend (she painted them herself)
Middle shelf - Gargoyle + small ceramic animals.
Bottom shelf - Dragon w/ pyrite (fool's gold) - The dragon and gargoyle can be bought [here].
Left side of the closet - I keep my bookcase in here because of the lack of floor space in the room, and I don't want my books and whatnot to fade in the sunlight.
Bookshelf: Top shelf (part 1) - Mass market paperbacks + a few larger books + Cheetor (Beast Wars transformer)
Bookshelf: Top shelf (part 2) - More mass market paperbacks.
Bookshelf: 2nd shelf - The rest of my book collection. Most of what I have at home are the books that I've read and want to keep.
Bookshelf: 3rd shelf - DVD collection. Unfortunately, this shelf is double-deep, so there is a row behind the one in front. But the ones in back are TV shows, so I don't often reach for them.
Bookshelf: Bottom shelves - Purse collection + misc + tiger trash can (which doesn't actually hold trash because it's too cute for that). I got mine from the [Container Store].
Right side of the closet. Mostly my winter clothes + party dresses (things that I'm not using at the moment; the items change depending on the season/occasion).
