Organised mess

Hi everyone! I'm Pamela, from Singapore. I've been quite the envious lurker on here for the longest time, and then I moved before Christmas 2010 so I finally had a chance to spruce up my room! (:

BEFORE

This here was my study desk at the old house, on which I didn't (couldn't) actually do much work. Plus my Board of Self-Induced Happiness! It's drowned by waves of Post-It notes from my lovely friends, as well as my MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE SHRINE.

And then I moved...

And redesigned my Board! Okay the Post-It's are still very much there, but I've changed the MCR poster to one of Rammstein, WHICH HAS RE-OCCUPIED MY FANCIES BECAUSE OF THEIR KICKASS NEWEST ALBUM. I've stuck up some of my photos with my friends and family too, and some memorabilia. (: I have some media passes on the left from my stint at a local paper last year.

Here's my other favourite part: my shelf! from Ikea. I fixed it up with help from my Dad. The quote I stuck on using Thickers (stickers) I got from a bookstore. The books here are only a fraction of what I have stored in another bookshelf and a chest of drawers (insatiable epeolatry, I repent). Okay I so happen to be a victim of the Pokemon craze as well. A very willing victim.

And Ray Toro's peeking out from...

My relocated MCR shrine! Hehe. I really accidentally stumbled onto this month's issues of AP. They only stock some 2 copies of AP every month to each corner-store magazine distributor here, so it's really rare here. AND WITH MCR ON THE COVER TOO, I FROTHED IN THE STORE. Anyway what used to be here was the first issue of Umbrella Academy, which now stands proud (although hidden) in the red folder. Oh, on the left is where I keep all my CD's and a few DVD's. I insist on owning records from my favourite bands because I'm sentimental like that!

Yup that's all! ourbedrooms has given me so much inspiration and ideas for my new room, so thank you! <3
