Sarah Palin's Holy War
I read a headline today on Palin's speech at the RNC last night, "Perfect Populist Pitch."
It seems the media fell for it. The Republicans cried sexism (ha-ha) that the media wanted to investigate their vice presidential candidate about... a. Earmarks Sarah Palin used as mayor and governor b. Palin using taxpayer money to pay her personal lawyer c. Wrongful firing of a public safety commissioner as retribution for a state trooper divorcing her sister d. Mrs. Family Values daughter getting knocked up (abstinence works!).
But a populist? No, William Jennings Bryan was a goddamn populist (though they'd probably agree on evolution). Palin is a capitalist jihadist. Stumbled across this little news story today, makes me wonder how much press it'll get...

Yes, Palin apparently taught ministry students that God loves himself a good blood-bath, provided we kill muslims and get a lil' something-something out of it.
