After reading nardasarmy’s excellent post on blogging safely, I started thinking about how this applies to fandom. I left out the specific examples of Crazy run Amok - people losing their jobs, being stalked, etc. because I figured we'd all heard the stories.

I followed fh's linky here. *takes notes* I wish I'd had this before I jumped off and rolled in the mud with the dirty crazy. *nods* I mean, most of this is common sense, but they have a way of vamping that out of a body.

I hate to admit it, but I realized by allowing behavior I would absolutly not tollerate in real life but accepted in my online dealings, I had in fact invited crazy in.
