How the hell will I do this?
I am determined to participate in, if not win, NaNoWriMo this year.
I have a great idea that i've been really into for a long time (as opposed to last year, where I juggled ideas until a few days before commencement, none of which I was really in love with). But this idea.... I think it's a winner. Even if I lose the patience to write it in time for NaNo's end, I might still toss it around as an actual novel idea.
And there's just so much I can do with it, too. Even if I don't have solid plans or ideas, I can make it up as I go, and it will still be what I'm aiming for.
A "Jack Kerouac/Robert Frank/Markus Zusak's I Am the Messenger" type adventure. (If you haven't heard of any of these, I reccommend you go educate yourself; you will not regret it.) I'm hoping to write it in the style of Fireflies, but I don't know if I can keep that up for 60k words. It takes a shit ton out of me to write like that, even if the result is completely ideal.
