Shitty Tuesday
I got called in to work today to put one of the clinic cats to sleep. She was very old and has been doing steadily worse since I started there back in October.
We'd tried to treat her various ailments in any number of different ways, but things just steadily got worse. Finally, on her recheck bloodwork today, she had enough things wrong that my boss, her 'owner', called a stop to any further trials of medication. I believe it was the right thing to do.
I'm not sure why I got so upset, but I did. This was really, really hard. I did what I was asked to do.
