Official AC Notes

Of course, the longer I wait to write up a con report, the less new material I have to offer compared to the multiple excellent things already posted. However, there are a few surprises left. First, the usual things.

Many thanks to those of you who attended my panels. I felt that things went well in general. From the feedback I got, I'm not far from the mark. I truly do enjoy offering part of my professional life that way. The most entertaining part of both panels, for me, is question and answer time. I get to correct a lot of misconceptions and offer my own 'best medicine.' I had a very nice woman tell me that my panel was the reason she came to the convention at all. I truly hope that I lived up to the expectations she had. Absolutely flattering!

This year's party was damn good, too. This is only because of the exceptional folks that decided to drop by. As always, so many folks were coming and going that I never got a full list put down. If you were there, thanks for dropping in!

Dinner at Morimoto's seems to have become -the- thing to do when in Philly for AC. This year, because of what we thought would be some scheduling difficulties, a few of us decided to break off and stop by the Iron Chef's on Thursday night. We got the same excellent menu that folks on the other evenings got. I wholeheartedly agree with their assessment: Superb.

Hanging out with friends I haven't seen in ages was decidedly the best part of the weekend. There were several shared meals and time just chilling out, along with the usual shuffling around in between. There wouldn't have been a better way to spend time.

I've got no complaints. Not one. :)
