Oh c'mon like I can't be the only gay guy out there who is OBSESSED with this movie and has both sets of fingers & toes crossed that this rumored long awaited sequel (much like the orgasm of a woman) shall eventually get here.  That being sad, this is one of a handful of Disney Movies that I have had an almost clinical obsession with yet never seemed to quite cach on with the usually Disney oooomph.  Now much to Disney's credit, there really aren't alot of the films that have acting, writing, directing all working together that didn' yield them the pat on the backs and the atta boys to which they are used to.

Sure there were some dogs....that Emporer and his clothes thing....definitely a dark day for Disney animators...as were (IN MY OPINION...see how that works...MY OPINION AS IN..MY GOD GIVEN ABILITY TO THINK FOR MYSELF).

I was lucky enough to be alive during Disney's Gold Age of Animation when it cranked out some amazing flicks one right after another...I mean we had The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast...they rocked amazing soundtracks with songs that you can't help but find yourself belting out when you are in the shower or stuck on the Jersey Turnpike witing for your exit.... A Whole New World, Tale as Old As Time, Be Our Guest, You ain't ever had a friend like me,....then we have Tarzan's soundtrack which was prety much penned completely by Phil Collins & even a song by N'Sync.

Then came the pretty good movies, but they weren't the musicals that we were used to from Disney.....Hercules, Lilo & Stitch, Tangled, Mulan, Pocohontas (let's be honest the best part of that movie was Vanessa Williams redeux of the anthem Colors of the Wind)....of all the stories to be plucked out of history for a Disney movie....good thing our educational system is spotty or else kids and parents would reaize that they were watching a story chock full of pedophilia, because Pochohantas was somewhere around what...10....thrown into marriage with somebody in the twenties or so...I mean her story is not all sunshine and disney magic.....

Of course over the years Disney has also released more than it's fair share of live action films that never quite got the recognition that they deserved...some even mixed with some animation.  I mean we had Bedknobs & Broomsticks...to this date one of my absotively favorite flicks, then there's The Watcher in the Woods, Summer Magic, The Moon Spinners, Escape to Witch Mountain & Return to Witch Mountin (both starring pre drug fueld annoying Housewife Kim Richards.

Not what I was going to start with, my first post back, but I figured hey...why not :)  I miss Orlando, I miss working for Disney...wondering who else used to chat me up on this thing that are still around?

Feel free to look for me....reach out and say hey.  I met some of my bet friends on this site...

disney, hocus pocus, the little mermaid, disney queens, aladdin
