Well, I went back to work Monday because I couldn't afford to stay out longer, but the cough is still with me.  The rest of the crud seems to thankfully be in abeyance, but as usual I can't seem to get rid of that post-nasal drip.  I had such high hopes, too - last year I got the flu shot and for the first time in a long while I didn't get the Crud ( Read more... )

I've been out of work sick for the last seven days straight.  It started as a sinus headache on Thursday 11/15, which caused me to go home 2 hrs early, and by Friday morning had developed into a full-blown case of The Clinging Crud.  This happens every time I get a cold, ever since my lungs were damaged by inhaling chlorine gas (never mix Comet ( Read more... )
