Do you currently play anyone at Otokoyo? Nope.

Character Name: Captain James T. Kirk
Character Series: Star Trek XI
Point in the series: Post-Movie
History: here, with some TOS components such as the events on Tarsus IV.

Character Skills: Jim's a survivor, first and foremost. He has moderately good combat skills. He can build a fire, and kill and cook some thing, if with not gourmet finesse, then at least until it's safe to eat. He can make weapons out of almost anything, and has a hefty amount of intelligence he likes to put to use on practical problem solving. Jim's biggest asset in any conflict, however, is his complete, never-hindered, unchanging, force of will. Jim does not believe in quitting, giving up, or losing. He is determined to come out ahead, and there is no other option considered.

Tell us about yourself: About me? Hell, I'm James T. 'Motherf#@king' Kirk. Let my buy you a drink, and I'll fill you in. Can't believe you haven't heard of me. I saved the world, you know. Yeah, the whole thing. I'm Captain of the Enterprise, y'know. Youngest Captain Starfleet's ever seen. How did that happen? Well, I saved the world, how do you think? Yeah, I'm pretty amazing.

I wouldn't call myself arrogant. Well, really, who would? If you'd call yourself arrogant, you obviously aren't. I'd call myself...self-confident. Self-confidence is healthy. It's also a good cover for anything upsetting. I believe in myself and my ability to do...pretty much anything. I don't believe in no-win scenarios.

Am I a playboy? I guess you could say so. Hell, I gotta admit, women love me. I love them. Nothin' wrong with that, is there? I don't mess around with my crew, obviously. I'm their captain; I respect them, and they respect me. I try to remember their names- Yeah, all of 'em. I'm their captain. I never wanna look at a dead crewman and realize I didn't even know their name. I guess that's a ...thing, with me, or something. I gotta know who everyone is. That way, there's always someone who remembers 'em.

That's pretty heavy, though. Really, I'm a cheerful guy. I party when it's time to party, I kick ass when it's time to kick ass, and I leave no stone unturned. I may not always be an easy guy to know, but I'm never boring.

What kind of people do you interact with at home?: I don't really know how to answer this-- On my ship, I try to get a good talk in with at least a couple of my crew members every day. When it comes to sheerly personal relationships, Bones is about my closest friend. My best friend, really; Wouldn't go into space without the guy. He's cranky, he's disillusioned, and he's pessimistic, but I wouldn't trade him for any other person in the universe.

Other than Bones, well, I've got Spock. Didn't really expect us to become fast friends, but we're getting there. We play chess, off and on, and for once I've met somebody that can beat me. He's a good man to have at your back- Loyal, intelligent, and brutally honest.

I guess that's what I value most in friends. Loyalty. Anything else, I figure is a person by person case, but loyalty is what really matters.

I spend a lot of time with what I guess most people would call geniuses; Me, I just figure they're my crazy friends and crew mates, and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Do you believe in ghosts/spirits/the supernatural?: On one hand, no. I believe every thing's got an explanation, somewhere. But on the other hand, there's some things the human mind does that just can't be explained scientifically.

((Asfgh Html FAIL. Sorry!))
