You do get used to it. It took me a few weeks to adjust with my first pair, and every time I get a new one I go through a few days of things being wonky before I readjust. It just takes time. It's why I recommended you keeping them on all the time-You'll adjust a lot faster that way than if you just keep taking them off and only putting them on every few hours, or days, or only when outside, or whatever.
You'll also get to a point where, like you said, you realize the detail that you're missing and just can't see not wearing them, and you'll want to keep them on all the time. There's really only three times I'll take mine off: Water, Sleeping, and well. You know. Given that you didn't completely barf wearing mine, the prescription is probably fairly close, and I'm sure that after you adjust you'll want to wear them all the time

I apparantly have some issue with my eyesight, but nothing I need glasses for :V it's something to do with my eyes not being able to focus properly sometimes.
I'm told that glasses are helluva expensive though, you pay more for the frames than the lenses?
