What? where are all the comments? *frowns* Because this is an awesome, twisted idea. I'm not usually one for angst, but this has so many possibilities!

Poor Doctor. :( He seems so defeated. Jack it seems, has a little bit more distance, when it comes to the Master. I hope he sticks around for a while to support the Doctor, since I don't know if Martha will be willing to stay on the TARDIS with the Master around. And Verity, I wonder what she's thinking, with the "she belongs to us now"?

I'm curious to see how the Master deals with being a woman, and how he deals with the Doctor's attraction to him being not entirely about him- will he be jealous or will he abuse it? And yikes for the Doctor, this must be absolute torture for him- what with seeing the form of Rose do and say cruel things and the temptation to "pretend" it's actually Rose, if just for a little while. If this ever gets smutty it's going to be seriously messed up smut!

Oooh, and I don't know where you're planning on going with this in terms of canon branching off, but omg, if Rose does come back when the stars start going out, and finds the Doctor in a relationship with a doppelganger of her, I can only imagine how she would react. And even if the Doctor loves them both, I imagine the Master would seriously flip his shit. *mind is boggled*

Wow. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this!

Heyyy look there's a review! *points and jumps around excited* Woo woo! You have just successfully made my day.

All of the things you mentioned and many more are EXACTLY why this idea got it's fangs in me in the first place. There is actually a poll a couple of entries back for some of the ideas I have been playing with associated with this story line so if you feel inclined I would love your thoughts.

Actually it wasn't. No wonder I never got any feedback for the poll LJ ate it and it vanished from my journal. Hopefully it will stick around this time.
