Pulling Teeth
I survived my wisdom teeth surgery. Everything went quite smoothly, and no complications so far (knock on wood). I should be out and about on my regular schedule by Thursday.
In other news, just got news that IPR is turning me down. Which is a bummer. Details are slim as to why, and I'm hoping that the Revised version might change their mind (the version of the game they got was from the turn of this year, as they wanted a print copy, and the Revised one is only available as a PDF right now), but, yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm on my own for awhile.
Sigh.
So.
Anyway.
July is going to be an advertising month for Other Court Games. I've got a quarter page ad placed in the July edition of Knights of the Round Table, a print-and-pdf gaming comic and/or magazine. It's a pretty popular mag in the gaming world (about 35,000 readers), and, since I'm getting into July, it's *probably* going to be the most recent edition out there when Gen Con Indy rolls around in August. So, exposure should be pretty good.
rPhaedrus and I are also going to be looking at online advertising, too. We've got some free add dollars to spend from our web host, and there's really no better time to spend them than right now, in the build up to Gen Con.
Also, calling all game reviewers! I'm looking for game reviews. Are you a reviewer? Do you wanna be one? Let me know. I'll send you a comp (read FREE) copy of the book(s) if you agree to do an in-depth review. You don't have to be all fluffy bunnies about it, just be honest and thorough. I'd *prefer* to just be sending out PDF copies (cause, uh, they don't cost me anything to send), but if you absolutely *must* have a hard copy, we can deal.
