Yup, here I am reporting from the deep south... far deeper than I really want to be... Today I got a full tour of Louisiana , Mississippi and Alabama and I gotta say I'm not impressed! "But Dan! You didn't say you were going to be in the south I thought you were only gonna be in New Orleans and then on a Cruise!" ...yeah, me too. What Can I say I told you my dad's ideas were messed. Things are definately different down here. Maybe we should have just let the south break off from the US when we had the chance eh? And if you want to talk about racisim! I feel perfectly fine with all the black people around, it's all the local southern white people that weird me out/bother the hell outta me!! Jeez I'm sick of the word(?) "Y'all!" freaking "hecka" is gonna be like nothing comparitively when I go back up north! (note: this probably isn't true) Everything I liked about New Orleans is vastly removed here in Alabama, and the worst part? THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DRAW HERE! *piss, moan, piss, moan* At least tonight I (barely) escaped going to a minor leauge local baseball game with my family (that they honestly don't care about either) just to sit here in the hotel room (far better IMO!) Which brings me to my regular escape, as of late, READING. Today I finished the book I was reading (Dark Lord) which turned out to be nothing more than Glorified Fanfiction with a good writer (suppose I can't really complain about that) and that left me to start reading the only other book I brought Harry Potter (4 I think, for those who are counting) and I think most of you know how fondly I think of Mr. 'Arry Po'er (who is in fact A WIZARD HARRY) but it actually started out pretty decent I thought It just now slumped into some boringness and I'm told it gets pretty dark at the end so I'm looking forward to reaching that point finally. ANYWAYS thanks for reading my boring complaints issued in an attempt to stay sane, the cruise has to be better than this right? I'm looking forward to just drawing pretty much the entire time (we'll see how that goes...) I leave on the cruise tomorrow, that should be good (get me the hell outta here!) and I kinda doubt I'll be getting internet anywhere much else the rest of the trip so I'll prolly see YOU ALL when I return Monday.... enjoy Clone Wars.. I'd love to be there over here belive me!
