(no subject)
So I feel like a repeoductive health diva right about now with the combination of FAM and my DivaCup. I predicted to Ryan a few days ago with confidence that my period would come on the 13th. My temperatures got a little weird after that, so I felt a little less sure, and when I wasn't bleeding yet by about 2pm I thought, oh well, maybe I was wrong. (There's a range of four days within which I could get it anyway, since I don't know how long my luteal phase is yet; I just guessed today because it was the first of the four and last time my cycle was short.) Then I noticed that my back was aching a little bit, so I went to check my cervix and found BLOOD!!! It's probably coincidence, or even that me poking around up there actually kick-started things a bit, but I'm totally excited that I was able to predict almost the exact moment my period started, even before the blood actually started coming out. This is coming from a girl who never had any idea when her periods were coming before she started the pill and would bleed all over her underwear in class before she realized "oh, guess my period's started". Now my DivaCup is successfully in and I am quite excited to see what will happen.
